April 5 – Setting the tone

Welcome to Sunday! It’s time to set the tone for the week ahead! What does that mean? Take 5, 10, 15 minutes (whatever you need) to write out your intentions for the week.

When will you go to bed?
When will you get up?
How will you spend your first 15 minutes upon waking up?
What will your attitude look like?
How will you “check in” with yourself each day?
What time will you get your workout done?
Will you devote time for prayer or meditation?
What will your meal plan look like?

You get the idea… Spend time thinking about these things. No, the plan you set WILL NOT play out perfectly. That’s okay. Give yourself some grace, reflect, try again the next day.

Action Item: Do it NOW or schedule the time to set your intentions for the week. Feel free to share with us in My Challenge Tracker App what you put together. We can work on this together.

Next up, get that workout in today. If you’re following the BOD calendar it looks like it’s leg day from Body Beast: Build Legs 38 minutes! This one is hands down one of my favorite leg days. Pick up your heavy weights (don’t be scared) and expect to be sore tomorrow.

(Insert your favorite leg day meme here) 🙂

If you’re checking the days off on the free calendar I had to do a new workout. The original link that I had was no longer working. I’m bringing you back to the Core Power Yoga site. Here it is. Let me know if it doesn’t work for you though. If not, feel free to do any of the sample workouts on a different day – I’m positive those links should work.

We have another Zoom setup for those that want to workout together. It will be at 4 PM central time again. Check the details right below.

Heather Mattson is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Next topic – how is everyone doing with their nutrition? Let’s share in the app what we have been making. It helps others.

We’ve got this!
