Seven days into the month – way to rock those daily habits. We have set our intentions and now are doing the work. Let’s take a minute to talk about celebrating our victories ALONG the way, not only when we think we’ve crossed the finish line.
Victory is a funny thing. A lot of times our mindset around them is they have to be BIG in order to qualify as a victory.
At least for me, that tends to be the thinking. But I’m being challenged EVERYDAY in that.
What seems like a tiny victory to one, might be someone else’s mountain of victory.
Every. Single. Victory. Counts. Big or small. Major or minor.
And dare I say those “tiny” victories add up to be the BIG victories in life.
Maybe it’s spending 10 minutes with God each day. Maybe it’s a 5 minute distance learning assignment with your kid that took only 15 minutes (yesterday it took 30 minutes). Maybe it’s fruit instead of a brownie. Maybe it’s that extra mile or one more rep than the last time.
Each of these things isolated do not seem like MAJOR victories but when you’re consistent and you persevere everyday, in each choice, they add up to make BIG victories. In return, will create positive daily habits as well.
