Bringing back the bingo board in February

BINGO!! It’s back… this time we’re pairing it up with a mood tracker (details below).

I asked our online health/fitness community which challenge they’d like to see in February – I gave them 6 options.

  • Only real food. No processed food.
  • Read Free of Me as a group and discuss it in the app – https://amzn.to/38u94ou
  • Capsule Closet – find 29 items in your closet and ONLY wear those for the month of February.
  • Study/learn something new and share with the group throughout the month.
  • A bingo board similar to what we’ve done in the past, either a bingo board or a daily challenge.
  • Suggest a new idea

Bingo board was the winner along with no processed food being a popular one. Because of that, I added an item on the bingo board related to it. I also was doing a little brainstorming and wanting to toss in the mood tracker for fun too.

We’re kicking off the challenge February 1. We’ll be using our private app we use to log our workouts and come together for a sense of community/support. Here’s the board we’ll all be working on getting a black-out with.

February Bingo Board

HOW TO USE BINGO BOARD
1) print or save to your phone
2) put together a plan for which day/week you plan to complete each square
3) put an X in each square once it’s complete

Next up… the mood tracker. Like I said, this was an addition I decided to go with. My reasoning is to bring awareness to what attitude we’re bringing into each day. What adjustments do we need to make? What thoughts are we telling ourselves? What is our bedtime routine? I mean – we always talk about a routine being good for babies and kids, it must be good for adults too, right?

The mood tracker template allows us to pick four colors. Each day in February we’ll color in the day’s heart with what our mood was. Then we can spend sometime reflecting on that. I don’t know if anyone else is excited for this, but I am.

Who doesn’t need some color therapy in their life! Am I right?

February Mood Tracker

HOW TO USE MOOD TRACKER
1) print or save to your phone
2) determine the colors you’d like to use for the key
(great = pink, etc.) you also get to determine what great, good, meh, and bad mean in your world
3) each day in Feb color in the next heart (29 available) based on how your mood was that day
4) reflect on what triggers/emotions made your day the color you have selected
5) visualize a great day before you go to bed for each day in February

Pretty neat!

As a recap, this is what February will look like in our community.

  • finding or continuing a fitness & nutrition program that fits individual goals
  • using the app for accountability to log workouts
  • working towards a black out with the bingo board above
  • filling in the mood tracker above
