So often I hear from people that when they want to do better or be better they become paralyzed when it comes to starting. They don’t know where to begin or what to do. To do better or be better can mean a million different things to people as well. So for today’s topic, let’s take overall happiness into account – wherever you are in life.
We can all head over to Pinterest and find a million inspirational or motivational quotes, but we all know that doesn’t always work. Sometimes it can even have the opposite affect.
I think one of the main reasons why we don’t take on improvements to our overall health/happiness is because so many of us have an all or nothing mindset towards it all and want to “fix” too many things at once. The list starts to look like your five year old’s letter to Santa. It becomes overwhelming and we see the huge mountain we have to climb up. We end up never taking the first step.
With all of this in mind, I thought we’d take on a daily challenge for the month of November in our accountability group. If you don’t know, I have an ongoing group of go-getters that take on becoming better versions of themselves. If you’d like to join us, click here to learn about what challenge will take place next. Anyway…
Each day I’ve been posting what the challenge is and including what the next day will be. Keeping it simple.
The group of go-getters then take on that challenge and share about it in the group. Each task/challenge may look different, as so many of us are in different phases/seasons of life. We’re all doing it together though.
It’s been so fun I thought I better share it here too. In case, you’d like to take on a daily challenge as well. Who knows, you might find yourself paralyzed in the start. So here it goes. Keep reading to see each of the daily challenges the group took on.
Instead of re-creating the wheel, I’m going to share the images I used in our group. Keep things simple right. I’ve also decided I don’t need much text beyond this, as the pictures do it for me.
I’d love to hear if you are up for taking this challenge on or if you did it. Please share in the comments below your thoughts.
Here’s to a better healthier happier version of us. Go get ’em.
And there you have it! Thanks for checking them all out. Again, I’m excited to hear how they work for you. Are you ready to take on a simple challenge with ONE thing a day? I know you can do it!
